Receipt scanning for loyalty is here
Now your customers can scan receipts directly in the mobile app. Get ready to unlock a powerful new way to engage, reward, and track purchases.
New feature: receipt scanning
There’s a powerful new feature in m–wise Loyalty Cloud: receipt scanning is now live and available for all users.
This feature enables customers to use your branded mobile app to scan and submit receipts, invoices, and other proof of purchase.
This is a major step forward in building omnichannel loyalty experiences, capturing first-party purchase data, and extending engagement across offline environments.
How it works
The in-app scanner reads and processes the text, automatically registering purchases in m–wise Loyalty Cloud in real time.
If a scan is rejected due to suspected fraud, it’s added to a manual review list so you stay fully in control of your program.

Use cases
1. Proof of purchase for rewards
Let customers scan receipts to earn points for qualifying purchases, even outside your stores or website.
2. Omnichannel loyalty tracking
Combine online and offline purchases to build a single, unified customer profile.
3. Product-level insights
Extract line-item data to understand which SKUs drive loyalty and tailor your offers accordingly.
4. Offline promotions
Tie promotions to real-world actions, for example: ‘Buy any 3 items, scan your receipt, get a €5 voucher’.
