Technical Architect

Your role

As a Technical Architect at m—wise you combine analytical, technical and creative skills in order to master the infrastructure needed to connect our clients to our platform and services. Yes, that means you’ll play a crucial role within the systems team AND in the relationship with external partners that use our services. You are the ultimate puzzle master. You don’t run into problems; you encounter puzzles hungry for a solution! And so, you analyse them, build and re-build them, monitor them, solve them and improve them. As a Technical Architect, you will be involved in business requirements such as:

  • What are the wishes and demands of our clients?
  • Translate these demands and wishes of our clients into a technical design
  • How does the client wants the app to be visualised?

Next to this, an important element of your job is to think about the technical requirements, such as:

  • How does the back end of the till systems of our clients work?
  • Is there a CRM system in place?
  • Which interfaces are connected to the system of the client?


The Technical Architect needs to describe exactly what is needed in order to develop the mobile app and online accounts. For example, how does the mobile app need to look and how does the flow work exactly. With clients you will discuss the technical design and translate it into a structured plan to be realised. Next you will create a business case and take the lead in creating a road map and the actual roll-out, including which interfaces are needed, which have to be tested and how exactly. The pricing and presentation of the actual plan is also part of your responsibilities.

When you build, test and deploy on our Loyalty Cloud solution, you prove that online executions are more than the current status quo. You are in it to win it and it shows: your work delivers on user engagement and conversion.   • Affinity or experience with Loyalty Cloud;
  • Experience with ETL development;
  • SQL and SQL server;
  • Experience with or knowledge of C#, API, .Net, Javascript;
  • Master in Microsoft Azure and the skill to explain to our clients what exactly Azure is;
  • API specialist;
  • Data/big data-driven in an omni-channel environment;
  • Solid communication and presentation skills;
  • Able to lead and guide technical specialists internally and you are willing to get your hands dirty;
  • Work independently and precisely;
  • Hands-on and operational work attitude,
  • Plus a handful of years of experience in DevOps that helped you value specs and design documents;
  • A heart that beats faster when your solution reduces churn and boosts retention;
  • A strong technical background (seriously, we’d love to learn from you).
