La Place loyalty app offers Easter prize giveaway game

Customers of restaurant chain La Place took part in an Easter-themed treasure hunt via the restaurant chain’s app. Completing the challenge earned customers a surprise gift and the chance to win a year’s worth of free food at La Place locations (up to the value of €1,000)!

Gamification meets event-driven marketing

Over one month, users could find the Easter-themed game in the official La Place Extra’s app. To participate, they needed to visit La Place restaurants to locate Easter eggs and scan them using the app. Once all six were scanned, customers could visit the point of sale to receive a free gift.

This seasonal add-on blends event-driven marketing with gamification to encourage customers to visit La Place locations. By driving physical footfall, the campaign demonstrates how online loyalty strategies can generate offline sales.
