We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with CRM, mobile and Digital Marketing experience to join our team in Amsterdam. You will regularly engage with clients, manage expectations and oversee marketing & technological projects to consistently deliver business result to our clients.

Working at m—wise means you'll be managing projects that engage with the latest CRM & digital technologies. As Account Manager you will continuously challenge yourself, your client counterparts and your co-workers. Develop relevant, original and impactful marketing ideas and solutions for clients that span the spectrum of CRM. Part of your work contains program strategy & design, loyalty platform & systems/marketing technology, contact strategy, analytics & insights, campaign management and more.

As experienced Account Manager, we expect you to be great in dealing directly with clients to manage expectations, work through problems, negotiate/re-negotiate budgets, and provide a good face to the company. You will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities with current clients and in developing new initiatives, campaigns and proposals to sell m—wise capabilities.

You will be responsible for the following day-to-day activities:

Optimal customer relationship management of our clients and its marketing services suppliers

Manage overall customer satisfaction/retention and develop profitable and sustainable sales/profitability growth at assigned accounts

Management and securing the process of project requests to excellent operational execution, including monitoring and ensuring

Quality requirements & management, deadlines (project & SLA management)

Financial management of accounts (proposals, invoices) including monitoring & proactive reporting on budget, forecast, work & results

Managing client expectations to deliver good quality work by clear project scope, constant & clear communication, feedback and reporting

Grow/penetrate existing clients by selling additional services and projects (new business)

Partner in business and CRM issues and challenges

Provide strategic and tactical advice, including program recommendations, ideas and opportunities to ensure client program & business success

Determine customer's needs and translate internally for adequate follow-up

Maintain thorough understanding of the customers' market and its competitors

Stay on top of the CRM Retail landscape

What you will need

  • HBO+ education with CRM & Loyalty knowledge
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience as Account Manager/Director in an agency is an absolute must
  • Strong affinity & experience with marketing, technology and data
  • Excellent in Dutch and English, verbal and written
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experienced account & project management skills
